S’appuyant sur les réseaux du Groupe Currimjee, Trampoline fournit une expertise sectorielle par le biais de conseillers avisés, un soutien analytique rigoureux, et prépare les entreprises à accéder à capitaux et clients.

Comment tout a commencé

L’histoire du Groupe Currimjee est intimement liée à celle de notre nation. Depuis le tout début, l’entrepreneuriat fait partie de l’ADN de la famille, faisant du groupe un acteur actif de l’évolution de l’île Maurice, d’une économie de monoculture vers celle que nous connaissons aujourd’hui. Dans sa volonté de soutenir l’entrepreneuriat, le Groupe a mis en place un fonds de 125M MUR dans le but de contribuer à un écosystème d’entrepreneuriat et d’innovation durable au profit de la société mauricienne dans son ensemble.

Trampoline est la première organisation issue de ce fonds. Il s’agit d’une entreprise à but non lucratif dont l’ambition est de créer et de soutenir des initiatives dans le domaine de l’entrepreneuriat à caractère social

ARIF CURRIMJEE

Founder of ABANA & INAM, Director of Currimjee Ltd,
Chairman of Trampoline Ltée

Arif is a passionate entrepreneur in the textile industry. He managed a large vertically integrated knitwear company with factories in Mauritius and Madagascar supplying industry leading retailers. Subsequently, he built a premium knitwear solution network connecting small and medium-sized factories in the region with sophisticated European brands and created a cashmere brand with a unique made-to-order e-commerce concept. ABANA, his latest venture, is a digital platform with the ambition to illuminate the African textile & apparel ecosystem. Arif is the current President of the Mauritius Exporters Association (MEXA) and a past President of the Joint Economic Council, the apex body of the Mauritian Private Sector. He studied at Williams College, the London School of Economics & McGill University.

VANESHA PAREEMAMUN

Chief Human Resource Officer of Currimjee Jeewanjee & Co Ltd, Board Member of Trampoline Ltée

Vanesha is the Chief Human Resource Officer of Currimjee Jeewanjee & Co Ltd (CJ & Co Ltd). She has more than 18 years of experience in HR and Organisational Development and has worked for the CIM Group as Group Head of HR for 4 years and as Head of HR for Cim Finance for 4 years. She also worked as an economist for 10 years with the Ministry of Economic Development. She holds a BSc in Economics and Management from the University of Cardiff, UK, and an MBA with specialisation in Human Resource Management from the University of Mauritius. She is a Member of the Mauritius Institute of Directors and is currently a Director on a number of companies in the Currimjee Group.

JAMES VAN DER WESTHUIZEN

Startup and Scaleup Coach, Board Member of Trampoline Ltée

James is an experienced startup and scaleup coach from South Africa. Founder of KnowHouse and PeoplePower, he brings a strong knowledge of entrepreneurship as well as experience in coaching impact startups and designing meaningful business development programs.

SHIRIN GUNNY

Managing Director of Made in Moris

Shirin Gunny is the Managing Director of Made in Moris. Her mission since 2013 has been to imagine, create, and ensure the strategic development of the Made in Moris label which has since become a reference for strong Mauritian brands. Postgraduate of HEC Montreal, Shirin started her career at Cossette, the most prestigious Canadian communication agency. As a strategic planner, Shirin has been implementing diverse and challenging communication plans for famous brands such as Bell, Nestle, Poste Canada, Mentos. She won various international awards (Cannes Lions 2008, Grand Prix Stratégies France 2008, Canadian Marketing Association Awards). Her strong design thinking skills, combined with her sense of creativity and contagious enthusiasm, enable her to create and develop success stories. Shirin is also a designer and artist.

Innovation and Partnerships Lead at Trampoline Ltée

Antish Aubeelock is the Innovation and Partnerships Lead at Trampoline, where he works at the intersection of entrepreneurship, corporate innovation, and ecosystem development, designing and implementing programs that connect startups, corporates, and institutions to pilot solutions addressing real market challenges. He holds a Master’s degree in Creativity: Innovation & Business Strategy from the University of Exeter as a Chevening Scholar, a Bachelor’s degree in Banking & International Finance, and has passed CFA Level I. Antish is also a Mandela Washington Fellow under the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI). Prior to joining Trampoline, he worked as a Digital Product & Innovation Specialist at Cim Finance Ltd, contributing to product development and digital transformation initiatives, and as an Investment & Trade Officer at the UK Department for International Trade, where he supported British companies exploring trade and investment opportunities in Mauritius.He holds a Master’s degree in Creativity: Innovation & Business Strategy from the University of Exeter as a Chevening Scholar, a Bachelor’s degree in Banking & International Finance, and has passed CFA Level I. SOPHIE MONTOCCHIO

Lead Executive at Trampoline Ltée

Sophie is an enthusiastic entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in planning, leading, and improving non-governmental projects and organisations. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences with a major in Anthropology and is a certified Coach (Hedo-Coach & Copilot’in). Sophie was previously Project Coordinator at Chrysalide, where she federated sex workers around their human rights. Together, they co-founded Parapli Rouz. With her team, Sophie set up and ran the newly founded NGO, overcoming many challenges, securing international funding, and meeting objectives rapidly. After supporting the early-stage development of Parapli Rouz, she supported the capacity building of various social enterprises through coaching and mentoring. Sophie joined Trampoline in April 2021, with the mission to design, launch and operationalise the initiative.

JULIA ESPITALIER NOEL

Communication & Outreach Officer

Julia holds a BA in Visual Communication from The Arts University of Bournemouth and a Master’s in Design Management from Northumbria University, where she explored how design thinking can drive social innovation and human sustainability in Mauritius. She began her career in graphic design, working with agencies and freelancing in branding before shifting to impact-led initiatives. In 2020, she joined Small Step Matters, Mauritius’ first social crowdfunding platform, where she led website redesigns, built CSR partnerships, and implemented creative fundraising solutions. Julia joined Trampoline in March 2024 to lead ideation workshops, foster ecosystem connections, and support the development of innovative projects. With her background in design, communication, and project coordination, she is committed to building a thriving impact innovation ecosystem in Mauritius.
